Driver's door issue

Hi so today I went to get out of Manel and the door wouldn't open. Pressed lock and unlock on central locking, but nope.
Chambered over to the passenger side and got out there. Tried from the outside and still nothing.
All power is there. It will unlock and unlock with the key and central locking, but just won't actually open.
Have had a bit of a search through the forum - does this seem to be microswitch issue by the sounds of it please?
Many thanks Teresa

You could try disconnecting the car battery at both terminals. Then touch the positive and negative CABLES together for a few seconds. This will clear any residual power from the car. Wait a minute then reconnect the battery terminals. You will probable need to use the key to open the car then resync your remotes. Hopefully this will work for you.

Thank you. I was just about to post an update. I decided to try the method I used to use when I had my 1977 mini with a starter motor that used to stick. I gave the door a good hard wallop near the lock on the outside. Heard a tiny 'tink'from inside and the door opened up. Something must have got a bit stuck inside. Thanks again ?
