I need to attend to a slipping drivers door glass. I daren't lower it as it comes out of the window frame. I have read threads on here on how to remove the interior door panel but what am I to find behind it? Is there access to the window glass etc

Many thanks Mr Reeper. Doesn't look or sound like a bad job. If I can change the headlamp bulbs without removing the whole unit I figure I can do this. Just need to find out whats causing the problem.

If the window is moving then take a llok at my photos again, the one with the window on the floor you can see the two screws at the bottom of the window may be one of them's broken

I must admit looking at that photo was the most useful-clearly showing two fixing points.
I feel its a job for the weekend so I'll let you know. I'm sure it's basic as it does go up and down it also goes side to side though, lol.
 
Drivers door window

Well I managed to get the drivers door panel off at the weekend and all the ancillaries too. I then managed to tighten the two torx screws holding the window to the two tracks that guide the window up and down.
Sadly the problem has not gone away and the glass still pushes out of window surround on its way up.
Am I missing something really obvious?
