Since several months I'm driving a 2001 A2 TDI with 300K Km's on the clock. My daily drive is about 200Km so weekly its between 1000 and 1400. Ive bought the 3L TDI because it is very frugal on fuel, befor I drove a VW Lupo 3L. So far I've had the gearbox and hydraulics fixed and upgraded the ridiculously small 21L tank to a 34L tank. Currently I'm sorting out an intermittend CC drop-off when indicating left or right as well as fixing the headlights fogging up. Im considering a damper upgrade, also the airco needs some attention, sensors (pressure and interior temp) changed but more action required.
I've been hanging around your wonderful forum for some months now but thought it might be a good idea to share my experience.
