ECU Coding 1.4 Petrol

Hi,
I have had a flood in my passengers side footwell killing the engine ecu.
I have a second hand unit which I have coded the keys into.
The car runs but has the following faults:

Throttle Body - Introduce Basic Settings

ECU - Coding Error

I know how to program the Throttle Body

Does anyone know what the code should be to write to the ecu?

I have a Autoboss Scanner with full VAG coverage.

Best bet is to read off the settings from the old ECU, if at all possible. It's also possible to resurrect water damaged units by opening them up, cleaning with distilled water if necessary, then leaving to dry.

You mean the 80A fuse in the footwell? This could well have saved the ECU - try the open, clean, flush and dry method first - you'd be surprised.
