can someone please help me with this. My ecu light came on at the weekend and through my Gendan scanner recorded a fault of 16786, relating to the EGR valve. I have since reset the light, but within half a mile it re-appeared again.
Trouble is that the EGR valve itself was replaced 18 months ago and again a year previous to that. Surely I don't have to keep replacing it at a cost of £120ish every year!! Can it be cleaned and if so how easy is it to remove for a 1.4 petrol 51 reg.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
