Electric Aux Heater retrofit

With my engine coding set at 0002 and while in motion (driving) i have heat in cabin when engine is cold (auxillary heater working). My air intake temp sensor on the MAF (G72) is constantly showing approx 10 degrees above my ambient temp sensor?
Before i order a replacement MAF, Can someone please check to see if this is normal?
Car is a 1.4 tdi Amf engine.
Thanks
Steve

If you turn the Climate to Off, before starting your FSI, it will warm up quickly, around 5 minutes. Once the temperature gauge begins to rise, turn the Climate back to Auto, and you'll get pleasantly warm air.
The FSI warms quite quickly, because, until the thermostat opens, coolant flow is limited to the cylinder head and heater matrix, no flow through the block. So the volume of coolant circulating is small, so warms quickly.
Quite different, (it's an FSI after all), to other, lesser engines.

And, of course, the heat output to the cabin is about 20% higher in the FSI, due to the higher running temperature.
