Electric gremlin.

Hi All, have a 55 plate tdi which went for mot in nov and passed but has been parked up ever since,on moving it to get ready for sale noticed a brake binding so will have to look at that but the ABS light is lit up ,the lights wont come on and rev counter stays at 1000rpm whatever the revs? any help would be greatly appreciated. First thing to do is remove the battery from the car and fully charge it up. Once refitted have a full VCDS scan done and immediately clear all found faults. Do not worry if some do not clear. Drive the car to warm everything fully up and rescan the car.

Obviously check the brakes first to ensure safe to drive it.
