Engine Coolant Temp Too High - Code 16502

Had the Emissions warning light on the dash so got a check done and this is the code.
I had noticed that the temperature gauge takes forever to get to 90, so new there was any issue somewhere.

Can anyone advise on the fix?

Hi Martin
Faulty temp sensors are a common problem.
