Engine loom connectors?

Hi,
I have some contact problem with my 1,4 gasoline AUA engine loom.
For not to get too many leads to fix the problem, short version I have VCDS and I know what can generate the fault codes.
After check and replaced parts I´m have come to the conclusion that the problems are in the loom.
My question now is:
where to find a wiring diagram for the engine > control unit?
I have secured all connections at control unit and sensors for contact corrosion with contact cleaner and contact grease but is there any connections between the sensors or control unit?
Have any one had problem with cables and physical wear against the body?
The problem is intermittent and can come shortly after start or it cam run for 1000km and weeks without problem.
If I can´t find the problem in the loom I think it can be some soldering in the control unit that have gone bad?

I have wiring diagrams for the aua.

What is your problem?

As I mentioned I like to know if the cables from the engine to control unit under the seat is a cpl. cable or if there have any contact junction on the way? I have communication problem in the system, sometimes it comes soon after start other days I can run 1000´s of Km without problem.
Most of the time it don´t how any fault codes despite engine light, ESP, ABS, etc. lights up. Sometime engine misfires and goes down to idle with misfire. Just to stop restart engine all light gone engine run as usual no fault codes, sometimes I have :

1 Fault Found:
01314 - Engine Control Module
79-10 - Please Check Fault Codes - Intermittent

17961 - Barometric / Manifold Pressure Signals
P1553 - 35-10 - Implausible Correlation - Intermittent
17566 - Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71)
P1158 - 35-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

Sometimes:

16786 - EGR System
P0402 - 35-00 - Excessive Flow
17566 - Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71)
P1158 - 35-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
17953 - Throttle Valve Controller
P1545 - 35-10 - Malfunction - Intermittent
18057 - Powertrain Data Bus
P1649 - 35-10 - Missing Message from ABS Controller - Intermittent
17962 - Throttle Actuator (J338)
P1554 - 35-10 - Conditions for Basic Settings not Met - Intermittent

Basic question how old is your battery. How well does the alternator work and does the battery hold charge. Low voltage can and does trigger various errors in A2's.

As I mentioned, can any one answer if there are any connection point in the loom between the engine sensors and control unit?
Is there any place that the loom are more sensitive for physical wear against the body?

As I now have secured the connectors in both side of the loom I need to measure each cable and for that it should be good with a wiring diagram.
Next step is to open the engine control unit to see if there are any bad soldering.
How is the control unit looks inside, I know it´s not made for to open everything baked in with silicone?

It seems that your main point of focus is the G71 sensor. Is that correct? There is no global overview of the wiring; to help you, I need to know your specific point of focus.

Cheers,

Tom
