"after replacement of the sensor you will need to Perform Basic Setting for ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)with a vag com or similar scantool"
Though I guess if it's a spare part off an A2 this would not necessarily require to be done as it will come with the correct settings, this would only need to be done if it was a new part?
too late...Not jumping the queue, but I have one off the car ready to go if you need one..

Yes same here in this hot weather intermittent brake warning lights coming on after going over bumps but usually dusty conditions too..I'm thinking a good car wash specially around wheel areas might also do the trick.Well, this is still happening and with more frequency now. I wonder if it has anything to do with the weather?
It hardly happened at all during the winter and I have changed the summer tyre and used the winter tyres again recently due to having my summer wheels refurbished.
Honestly, I think that it only happens during warm weather and happening with greater frequency when its hot.
Also I think I'll plug in my fault code scanner to erase it to see if it does the trickYes same here in this hot weather intermittent brake warning lights coming on after going over bumps but usually dusty conditions too..I'm thinking a good car wash specially around wheel areas might also do the trick.
Yes, best to find out which sensor is causing the problem. Could be brakes, wheel sensors or ABS Controller, or steering angle sensor, etc. Also I think I'll plug in my fault code scanner to erase it to see if it does the trick
