European Road Trip 2025-Interested?

Morning! You may or may not have picked up on the fact that I have the occasional soiree into Europe, often ending up in Greece or Hungary via France, Belgium, Germany, Austria etc. On the way the prospect of The Nurburgring, Berchtesgarten, Austrian Alps, twisty Alpine roads etc..
How do we fancy a group trip ending up at my house in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary, near the Austrian border. I will be able to put a few peeps up at mine but also plenty of places close by.

I am happy to organise and sort an itinerary.
 
Chris - I'd be very up for this (time/money depending). I've been wanting to get my 90 properly fettled and use her as a road trip machine, so next year gives me the time to do so! Tying in a few Audi-related destinations along the way as you say seems appropriate.
 
I believe the German Club is gonna try to have an event for the 25th anniversary, might be worth trying to combine it with a visit to that? (Though there's no date yet I believe)

Either way, sounds interesting from a continental perspective as well - we don't really get any events including trips here :)

Hello Chris,

This is a cracking idea which I’m quite up for too. Joining this next year should make up for the total lack of attending any socials this year.

I’ll be watching this thread as it developed into an itinerary to fully understand dates and duration. Nice work.

Hi Tom, yes, I'm sure everyone who comes along will have a great time. Can most people spare 10 days to 2 weeks?
 
Meeting point either Dover ferry terminal or Le Shuttle terminal depending on which one? Or there is a great little basic hotel just outside of Calais just off the motorway which may be better. I will try and knock up a plan in the next couple of weeks. The Nurburgring is an excellent experience even if you just spectate at one of the several viewing points on the circuit.
