Evening all.

greetings from Portslade, West Sussex.

As an Audi fan for many years, I have admired the A2 as they appeared to me to be a fairly well thought out chunky compact car.

Last weekend I picked a local car as a project that I may keep or let my hard-up ex-university daughter have.

I like a challenge, so I bought a 1.4 petrol, riddled with all of the common problems including the open sky roof. In addition to the A2, I also own a 2.5 Tdi Allroad and it can't be any more complex than that....

Time will tell as to how well it scrubs up, but I'm looking forward to getting started on it this weekend, before the rugby.

If it's any help to other members, I have the latest version of VCDS so if any local member needs a diagnostic scan or fault codes cleared, get in touch.

Thanks for a very informative and interesting forum.

Cheers.

G.

Welcome G

I can almost guarantee that the longer you have the A2 the more addictive it gets.

I would imagine that the word "TARDIS" has been used about your A2 already, if not, it will be.

Have fun, lots of info on here, check out the "How To" index thread, lots of links to interesting reading there (Including Sarge's detailed thread mentioned above)

Cheers
