Extra sidelights!

Hello all!
Just a quick question! Im in the middle of a project fabricating an extra set of sidelights for my car. Im just unsure of where and how i should wire them into the standard lights! The actual lights are just a strip of LEDs with 2 wires coming off! Not sure what wires they are but i know that when you connect them to a little 9volt battery they work, lol!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cant wait to get them finished and wired up so i can post some pics!
Thanks in advance, Adam.

Depends on where your fitting them. The two wires can be connected to the two wires of the side light bulbs, which means that when you turn side lights on the led's will also be powered. This way there is no additional wires and switches etc to fit. Watch that the leds aren't too bright though as it can be dazzling at night time otherwise.

The LED's will only work connected one way around, therefore check before wrapping it all up. Also no harm if you tried them wrong way around as they simply won't work. IF you connected a 9v battery to them then you'll know the colour of the wire on the LED's that is positive and Negative, make a not and if you are connecting them as above, then the purple with yellow strip is the positive and the brown is the negative on both side light bulbs inside the headlights.

Job Done! :D

Cheers
