Fault codes - help please....

Hi all, I've just bought a Gendan scanner as a number of lights appeared on the dashboard last week including the ABS light

When I restarted the engine the system check was fine, but I've done a scan anyway and found the following codes:

17566 - manifold pressure sensor G71 implausible signal
00812 - brake pressue release solenoid trip switch F84

Can anyone translate these into English for me and do I need to worry about getting them looked at or not?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Most fault codes are listed on the attached RossTech link. Gendan also have a code search facility on their web site - you need to register but its free

Hi, it's the 1.4 petrol on a 51 reg. Just done a scan as my engine management light came on again and sure enough I have exactly the same two faults still showing. I've erased the codes and the light has now gone out.

Just seen a post by Sarge about the pipes rubbing, so going to check that to hopefully fix 17566, but anyone got any ideas about the other one?
