Flash car wash system

As most of you will be aware I have no connection with the companies producing or selling this product.
I am not able to devote much time and effort to cleaning cars these days, so full of sceptism I bought the Flash car cleaning system as advertised on TV. It works, just like it claims, well I didnt have a sexy bird in the passenger seat, but that aside it works. I hope this doesn't break the conventions of the forum, if it does then remove it.

NEVER attempt a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
A2 1.4 SE TDI replaced with A3 2.0TDI DSG, the transmission of the future - today.
 
I tried this a month ago with my black A2.
I thought the results were pretty awful.
I do still use the attachment for washing the car though,
but with a different manufacturer s shampoo.
Maybe we have bad water in shropshire.
Or maybe its beacause its black.

Andy Dax, I tried it on the A2 Island Green, the Micra a sort of steel grey, and the Volvo Turquoise. It's not the same as a whole morning polishing, but it was very acceptable for a routine spruce up, when you can only spare 10 minutes. I followed the instructions to the letter, very unusual in this family, we only normally read instructions when all else fails, or smoke issues from the item being used.
Nice to get another opinion though.
 
I get my car washed at Sainsbrys local store while I do the shopping and they do a great job car shines like new. Hope to get car back from garage this week its under going some repair work faulty sensor so they say

1.4 PETROL A2 BLACK WITH OPEN SKY AND REAR BENCH SEAT
 
If you only have ten mins it is certainly better
than normal, a lot less standing water scum than
normal.
The thing is its one of the chores i enjoy doing ,so
i dont mind taking an hour.
I didnt realise the filters only last 3 washes when i bought it either. Seems pretty expensive aswell.
its good to get a spread of reviews.

Same probs. Tried it on my TT ( Dark Blue ) terrible then on my wifes A2 ( silver ) still see the water marks. Well back to using Swisssol !!!
 
I wonder if the hardness of the local water makes a difference. Our local water is hard, I have a water softener but it is not connected to the hose pipe, so I am using hard water with acceptable to good results. The replacement cartridges in Halfords (or anywhere I suppose) give 10 washes. I'm still happy with it, I don't enjoy washing and leathering (the car that is!) it seems such a waste of a life.
 
Seemed expensive when I saw it in my local garage. A 99p sponge, Turtlewax shampoo, a bucket of water followed by a rinse and full leather is much cheaper! I can do a wash in about half an hour this way.
