George this is lovely looking, an MYP is on my list for my 90. I'm just struggling with the logistics of getting it there and back to WOM.

Hello again, there is a train station near WOM if that helps. At Blyth Bridge. @Robin_Cox did that trip. I’m sure there’s other places that will do the swop but WOM have done loads of them. Stealth did one for me but that’s even further south!

Did it from Dundee as George noted - dropped car off, train back up from BB, on the return I took the Caledonian Sleeper, got off at Crewe at 0530 and then spent a few hours in the (mercifully heated as the platform was around -6 degrees!) waiting room before getting the train to BB again to pick up. I obtained a low miles NTG gearbox for under £200 and got it sent direct to WOM, who got the bell housing machined down to suit the single mass flywheel on my AMF and then fitted as part of the major refresh and rebuild. They did a lovely job.

Now where have I seen those wheels before ? 🤔 Very nice George 👍 This the one that was a panel swap with the TDI75 colour storm also from Steve, which was itself a panel swap by him with an FSI, right? Possibly the only set of panels to have been on three different cars!

There’s also the option to ask WOM if they could do it in one day if the gearbox is there ahead of time and machined….
(@chumsofmanutd sorry…..)

Possibly….lol. On a 90 with rebuilt suspension and brakes, a total interior change, it was cream…. and all of the above. Possibly the least original A2 but mostly OEM.
