Bought a spares or repair 1.4 tdi in Navy Blue as a project ,then saw Jaipur Red 1.4 tdi with lots of work done on eBay and bought that as well. Loving the idea of getting 1st one on the road - new clutch, service and gearbox oil so far, needs CV boot door straps, wheel refurb - bodywork poor but trying to do what I can and learn as I go, bought spare front and rear bumpers, wing mirrors that need paint and fitting and getting gearbox checked out. Intend to run this as my daily commuter and sell my A6 2.7 tdi Avant s-line and keep Jaipur for the weekend (90bhp) - claimed. Appreciate all the posts and advice and will certainly do a meet or show in the future- live Wetherby west Yorks

Thanks, the blue ones got cruise and electric lumbar and DIS and air con works - looks like yours has just about everything and great low miles

The Jaipur has been remapped with EGR delete and new shockers and springs all round and feels quite nippy but not got many toys - crap radio so looking to get a stock Audi one when I sell the A6

Thanks, mine has got almost everything bar lumbar, heated seats and headlight washers. It is just not the right colour! It probably won’t be a keeper long term due to this. You should try and get Bose, it’s such a lovely option, if you prefer oem radios πŸ‘

Welcome aboard and congratulations on two great purchases :) The Jaipur one is a welcome return to the club, it was sold to its last owner by another member only a few months ago. Can't tell from the photo, but if the Navy one is metallic, that'll be Cobalt Blue - I have one in the same colour. Looks to have a light-coloured interior too, makes for a good combination. Talk to @depronman about refurbished door straps and wiper arms and various 3D-printed items, and see @timmus about any electrical retrofits especially BOSE audio.

Hello and welcome to the forum...I,m pleased the jaipur has been bought by a club member and well done for taking the two on together. πŸ‘ πŸ™‚
thanks, the blue one will cost me more than the final value but I'll keep it and run it for at least a year and hopefully bring it up to scratch and not desperate to get the money out of it - sold a carbon bike for Β£1,000 so just moving money from a bike into a car- really looking forward to seeing what everyone got and what easy mods are out there. Could do with a specialist A2 garage near me who can advise on the oily bits

Hi there, not cobalt blue actually, even though I bought a rear bumper in cobalt blue for it by mistake. Ive now looked at the paint code in the boot which I should have done before diving in purchasing bits from all over, but will either sell back on here or bay or get sprayed the correct colour. Been in touch with Deproman about door straps and fuse cover clips, will be getting this soon and will talk to Timmus about standard single din radio/cd's for both
Thanks again

Does the Jalpar have open sky or is the roof painted black?
Hi, The roof is painted gloms black and it came with a matching bonnet in black. Current bonnet has slight lacquer peel so going to get it professionally sprayed and run it with black bonnet on - will post a picture when its on.

I ummed and ahhed about the Jaipur one myself whilst it was on E-bay, but with lockdown in place and only one income, I decided to pass on it, SO glad it has come back into the club, it really does look a good one.
Welcome on board....
