Front grill open automatically

Several occassions arriving home I have noticed that the front grill has opened. I know, or at least I think I know, I haven't accidently pulled the switch. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am sure I have closed it in place. Any ideas?

Check it is closed properly first. Close all the doors and the service flap and lock the car - the indicators should flash. If they don't either a door or the service flap is open. Or alternatively slide a knife behind the flap and see if it can be levered open.

A bit of WD40 where the flap latches into the holding mechanism may free things up-it may be sticking in the open position and not holding the flap securely.
