Front O/S strut / spring behaving badly.

Hello.
I need your help.
I have the exact same problem as the creator of this topic.
When I bought the car, first thing, swap the suspension.
I bought a meyle kit on eBay to change it.
But now, when I pass on some thing like a bump or pothole, it does a big bonk... like riding on the bump stops.
Like the owner described.
What fixed the problem?
if i cut the bottom part of the bumpstop, should it fix the problem? (Get a little of extra clearance)
Or the problem is the shock absorbers?
They are new :(

I changed everything. Top mounts, bump stops and dust protector.

thanks

Check carefully for a broken spring. Assuming the correct springs were fitted.
I’ve came from the garage and checked the shock. With the car on the floor, the gap between the bump stop and the top of the shock, is one finger. Is it normal?
It explains why any pothole, the shock hits the bump.

Do you have a picture of the ride height? Maybe a measurement from the centre of the wheel to the wheel arch? I reckon you have a broken spring as @audifan suggested

Are you sure it’s not broken at the top? The rubber bellows should be covering the shaft, unless you have moved it for the picture?

the photo was taken with the car in the air.
when the car in on the ground, the dust cap covers the shock.
i went to the mechanic, he thinks the noise is from the stabilizer bar (bushes or links).
lets see whats the problem.

Thanks
