Front wheel not centered in wheel arch

Has anyone had this problem.
The right hand front wheel isn't centered in the wheel arch, and the wheel has been rubbing on the plastic wheel arch liner.
The left front wheel is centered as it should be (equal gaps at the 3 and 9 o'clock between tyre and wheel arch)
I have standard 15" wheels.
R/H wishbone not bent and all bushes are ok.
Is there any chance that the alloy wishbone carrier has moved?? Allowing wheel to move??
Had the car for 2 years and has been through 2 mot's with no problem.
Tyres are not scrubbing on the inside and steers fine.
The steering wheel however is slightly to the right of the straight ahead position.
Car is a1.4 petrol 2003.
Any help or ideas as what might be causing this would be appreciated.
Car definitely hasn't been in an accident.
Apart from that its a great car and

If you have pressed steel bottom arms with replaceable lower ball joints they are sided

Possible you have a L/H bj in the R/H arm?

Some pictures of the car side on and a picture of your wishbones would help. As above, the ball joint would be my first port of call. I once rebuilt an Audi 80's suspension and accidentally put the wishbone on the wrong way round. Man that was an annoying day when I stood back and looked at it.

How did u sort that problam? I got same on my a2 on right fron wheel.

There are many possible causes for the wheel to be off centre in the arch - and all of them have to be taken extremely seriously for safety reasons. Can you clarify your situation and hopefully people with better technical expertise than I have will be able to advise.
If you can take photos and post them here this will help.
