Fuel flap lock mechanism, help needed

Hi

My fuel flap lock is not working, I think something has snapped off but as a new owner I’m not sure what it should all look like. I’ve attached a couple of photos so hopefully someone can tell me what’s missing.

The flap is unable to be pushed closed. It just bounces back and stays very slight ajar.

The electric actuator itself works, and I can see the end of the rod move inwards when I press the release button. In the photo you can see the end of the rod to the left of the metal clip, with what looks like a pozidrive screw head flush with the plastic surround.

If someone could just post a photo of a normal, working flap (ie. same photo angle as my first pic above) then it would be very useful, thanks.

Thank you for the photos, Andy. I’ll have to hunt down a replacement actuator rod/end by the looks of it.
