Fuelly

Signed up a few weeks ago but just got around to entering the fill ups. Surprised i`m over 40mpg.. thought it would be less.
 
With regards to fuel economy i am amazed. I cleaned my egr valve and for the first time ever filled up with premium fuel and i went 61 miles further than on the equivalent journey using standard fuel and got 61 mpg and i was in non stop traffic for most of the journey!! it is amazing and proves to me that the stuff really works

Signed up as well now. I have to say that at the moment my drive consists of 4 junctions of M1 at 50mph ave speed with no point on the journey from home that I can acelerate or have any fun, I'm not looking forward to real roads again as I bet the economy drops like a stone.
 
Well, finally bit the bullet on Fuelly and registered, so hopefully I should have it in my signature below now?
Slightly confused by the fuel category though - there is diesel, diesel L3 and diesel L4, what's the difference?

The 'Lx' is extra information on top of the fact that it's a diesel. The L3 and L4 relate to the cylinder layout - i.e., inline-3, inline-4 (a more familiar example is V6). Whoever entered L4 was mistaken since all the A2 diesel engines are all inline-3s.

I was just on Fuelly and have imported all of my fill-ups since Jan 2011 which I was previously tracking on my Android with a little App called MPG Calculator - nice to see all the data went in ok. But has anyone linked their Fuelly to their Facebook?!

Anyway, for a bit of entertainment I started trying to find the car with the poorest MPG. Best (worst!) I've found so far is the Bentley Continental on there which is averaging a mere 11MPG. 90litres to fill up the tank each time, ouch! Has anyone found a vehicle worse than that on there?!

Some guy says he got 199 miles on 3.79Lts which works out to be 239 mpgs in his ENZO yeah right, can you hear that flock of pigs flying past

Yeah saw that Enzo entry, I reckon there's a decimal point in the wrong place somewhere in that lot!
What the heck is/was a Ford Falcon though, blimey that MPG is atrocious!
 
Looks like some MAD MAX thing with a super charger stuck through the bonnet but it looks like he's not put it in properly as i think he used 460+ Lts on one fill. Thats one hell of a tank

the other lowest on that looks gen is about 9.6 i think can't remember what i see that on now, yes the Enzo driver did put one of his fill ups came up as 6mpg's which i would have thought was about right

Found another this looks gen as he's got a lot of fill ups on an Oldsmobile Vista cruiser 1975


one of his fill ups he only scrapes 2.4 mpg's and he's best is a massive 9 :D echo to the max lol

I just had to Google the Olds Vista Cruiser - it's one of those hideous Station Wagons that was usually painted in a sort of two-tone beige/brown that you saw loads of in the background of loads of US films in the 70s! 2 MPG - what sort of engine is that, useless!
