Full Beam Bulb Not Working.

AUDI A2 1,4tdi.

Offside front full beam bulb stopped working (The separate bulb from the headlamp/dip beam bulb) this one has a wire on it to a spade connector.

Changed bulb to ne one, no joy,
Changed fuse (Think its 21 or 22 as in book, but had to turn book upside down, box just under right side of steering wheel, again no joy,
Any ideas please like re sanding female fuse bits if you see what I mean.

If you have a multi-meter, check for 12 volts between ground and the centre connector (lights on, obviously!). Once you have 12 volts, you're 3/4 there.

Between ground (where the short wire with a spade connector on the lamp goes) and the female spade connector (in the wiring loom), that fits the male spade on the end of the lamp. That the 12 volts that feeds the lamp. If you have 12 volts there, the wiring etc is OK, and the problem is in the lamp connectors.
Hope that's clear (I know what I mean, but let me know if you don't).

Thanks to everyone, was the main bulb housing contact that the bulb sits in/on that had accumulated a layer of crime preventing a clean contact with the bulbs silver surrounding, light sandpapered and sorted.
