Further to my plea for help

Hi Guys further to my plea for help, my car 1.4 petrol occassionally runs like the choke is on in bottom and reverse (see previous thread titled v power). When I have to run a long period in 1st or reverse the epc and engine management light come on then it throws up 18043 & 17566 codes. Have read the threads on these but not come to any conclusions that help my car. Also prob related very occassionally (like about 4 times) it has momentarily cut out after running for a few min, like you would assume it was time to come off choke. If Im doing a fair speed it just jerks/cuts momentarily but if Im slowing it will cut completely. My local specialist says dont worry about it, it's nothing serious but it's very annoying. Have had the thottle body cleaned a while back, but this prob continued. Seems like a intermittant sensor prob. Where should I begin?? Hoping someone has come across this one. Both Audi and Vw say get it scanned. Yes had that done (not by them as they want £80) but the above codes dont suggest what might be wrong. Cheers Colin Ps seems worse on V power? about to refil today but dont think I have done any more miles per tank.

check my 'How to fix' Manifold Pressure Sensor. Do a TBA (Throttle Body Alignment) then see what it does :)

Just refilled with V power, Last tank did 45.64mpg down by 1.2mpg over ordinary unleaded. Mmm. will see what this one does then it will be back to ordinary at a £3.20 a tank saving. Dont think I was making use of the extra umph which I didnt even notice. I remember when I had a Arosa sport (100bhp) it was marginally better, but didnt justify the extra cost. Havn't had a go at the 'repairs' yet as mot looms so will get it looked at the same time.
