Information Genuine new A2 passenger door strap anyone ?

Hey guys the door strap on the wife's A2 has become unbearable!!!

Anyone got a link for the new ones at the best price ?

I appreciate any help that you can give

I think they are more than £31 now. I bought one a month ago for the drivers door and it was about £38 and that was with a little bit of discount at my local dealer.

Worth doing though as the previous check strap was so badly worn it was disintegrating and prevented the door opening fully!
 
Andy you could remove it and see if the rivet has just worn out,replace with a bolt and refit.
It would be a quick repair but dont expect it to last too long if its the plastic part thats Broken along with it
 
Its shocking to see that such a simple thing like a check strap being ridiculously priced by Audi.

Andy, try TPS, although its trade only but worth just going in to see if you can get away by being a non trade member :D
