We attended the German Day at Brooklands for the first time last year and it was a brilliant day, ending with a fantastic picture of many A2s lined up underneath Concord. So this year we will have a Club stand again
From historic to modern, all German marques are invited to form a static display against the backdrop of our historic site and its Collection. Expect a wide range of cars to admire from the Porsche to VW, Audi to Mercedes-Benz - see the best examples of German engineering through the years.
With a range of Traders, food and drink outlets, and family activities – as well as Test Hill ascents (and at least one A2 took up the opportunity to do this last year) , there will be something for visitors of all ages.
For anyone needing to stay over, Hotel prices can be a big higher in this area. Last year some of us stayed in the Premier Inn Woking West which was nice. Another member managed to get a good deal for the onsite Brooklands Hotel through Secret Escapes and a couple of us have booked in there on that deal this year.
Last year, lower price Club tickets had to be booked en bloc a long way in advance, but this year they have improved the system and you can book tickets at the reduced Car Club rate of £19.70 (usual price £24.95) online using Code GD4A2OC (Children 4 - 17 are £10.45, Under 5's go free) for all tickets bought by 18 August
If you would like to join us, please register above and click This Link to book your tickets (please scroll down the page and use the 'Book Tickets' link next to Plan Your Visit, then put Code GD4A2OC in the box to apply the discount if booking tickets by 18th August)
Having been last year, I am really looking forward to going again this year as the ticket price includes full entry to the Museum and London Bus Museum too.
