Glove box light switch

After my glove box light switch failed I started searching for a replacement switch. Audi never listed the part number for the switch on its own. Not wanting to throw away my good glove box I tried to find a damaged glove box that still had a functioning switch but no luck. Now just to clarify I am not talking about the finger that operates the switch that Paul @depronman prints a 3d replacement but the actual switch itself.

After much searching I did find the exactly same switch was fitted to the A6 C5 and that did list a part number of

8L0947315B​

I have now found a replacement switch that will get fitted in due course.

None of the usual parts suppliers had stock of the part. So this one was sourced from a very good ebay breaker.
