Glove compartment Handle has come off!

Hi all
whilst trying to get into the glove compartment the other day (the door was very stiff) the handle came off, I now am the proud own of a lovely little car that now has a 'safe' for a glove compartment! First of all, can anyone tell me how I can get back into the compartment itself? The door seems absolutely stuck. Secondly, assuming I get into the compartment again, will the handle attach again or is it likely to be curtains for it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think that you will have to replace the whole glove box for this! but before you decide to destroy it check carefully how/where the break has occurred and if there is any possibility of repairing it.
