I've got a mate who is a valeter and he swears by Autoglym, and not just because he has a supplier contract with them.
I've always used Meguiars on my previous cars (my old Mk4 Golf GTi was featured in the Meguiars catalogue a few years ago), but mate offered to come over and do a cheap Autoglym LifeShine for me on the A2.
I must say that the car now looks like it has come straight from the show room, so well impressed.

Yes, the lifeshine is an equivalent to Diamondbrite.
I'm waiting for some nice weather this weekend to apply mine!

Really nice write up, and very detailed, don't think I need pictures with that.
In did is a shame you don't live closer, that way I could have some practical classes.
Hope by the time I finish my A2 looks half as good as yours.
And as you said would be great if you could post some more pictures of the interior.

Yeah Phil, that's actually a good idea, I was only going to take pics when it was all nice and shiny.
But with all the dirt and grit it has it would make for a good example of what the difference is.
I had to quickly wash the windscreen and mirrors so we could see the road....is that dirty at the moment.

Ahhh, I can't wait, going to order the products this weekend, and should do it next weekend, hopefully.
By the way, does any one know of a good product to clean the carpet from that impregnated dirt? The only one that occurs to me, is Vanish or something like that.
My interior is grey it kind of stands out.
