Hi all, thought I would introduce myself, My names Rich and I am from Berkshire.

I very recently bought my 1st A2 1.4 petrol, She is an 03, She needs a bit of love, care and attention. I have been looking at some photos of fellow members A2's and I will say Yours put mine to shame lol.

Still nether the less it took less than 24 hours to fall in love with my new A2.

I bought Her on a very High mileage but looking at the history has been very well looked after by the previous owner.

I love all the gizmos like the filler caps on piping out the front, I also have the panoramic roof which is kind of cool but I hear they can be temperamental.

The one thing I need to sort out is refurbishing the alloys and believe I found the right place to do that, however until we get another A2 I can't book in as I need her to get to work ATM.

I will be applying some other cosmetics, and once these are done and the alloys are looking factory fresh again I'll be happy to show some more pictures, also be happy to meet up and socialize at any local meets.

;)

Welcome, I love the way you say you have bought your 1st A2, which to me indicates more on the horizon ?. They are very addictive so be warned. Loads of brilliant help on this amazing forum.
Good luck and enjoy your car.

Welcome to the forum Rich :) There are A2's of all descriptions on here from pampered garage queens to daily workhorses, the common theme is that we enjoy them and appreciate the design and engineering, whatever degree to which we use them. All are welcome at socials in whatever state they arrive - it's as much about the people on here as it is the cars.

Once I'd decided that the A2 might be an interesting 2nd car, I very quickly fell in love with my first one very after purchasing it too. 18 months later I had three of them as well as the original Volvo. One A2 feels lonely - you have been warned :D
