Hi,:)

Just thought i would be polite and say hi and introduce myself:D

I own a 04 A2:p 1.6 FSI S that ive just bought for oh thats damaged but easily repairable for low bucks so that just leaves me the task of repairing it,nothing serious but enough for the other owner to cut his losses and run but cheap enough for me to buy and repair:cool:

Back in the days before forums (yes there was such a time) I spent a fortune joining car clubs that were largely boring or charged the earth for a glossy magazine every quarter.
How things have changed.
I think there's going to be a social in The Lakes later this year.

Yeh i have been a member of a few clubs over the years some that charge and some that don't but most nowadays seem not to? well not the wed related sites, but there are still some about that cost way to much:(

Iam up here in Scotland so the lakes is just a good early drive down one morning but i will let you guys now closer to the time if i'll be able to make it or not:)

Hi riverlad

Ive not listed all the parts i need yet, but its looking to be no more than a front bumper,both headlights and drivers wing,iam sure there will be more but most of it has been salvageable and most of the parts i need will be used parts that i have started buying already, i'll be able to do it myself which will keep costs down:cool:apart from the paintwork,

Welcome to the club and its nice to hear that there are people out there wanting to do cars up rarther than just walk away from them, any Q you have for part etc.... just post it on here and there will be someone along to give you some advise to help you get sorted
