has anyone tried this in their A2, I have been doing it recently testing it with ESP and without its quite fun, just find an empty car park and do some crazy acceleration then hand brake and spin the wheel as fast as you can, i cant seem to perfect my 360 though but I do a mean 180, the ESP is kinda silly in that it allows you to do a 180 then it brakes the car and makes some dodgy electric noise (i feel like the car has taken control lol the accelerator doesnt work when its on either you dont even hear revving.) without ESP is kidna wild, never try it in the wet though omg that is not fun the car feels like ti will flip mind you doing 35 into a handbrake turn kinda would do that to ya eh [:p].

Try it yourself (i recommend for no skilled at handling the car drivers to do it with ESP on.)

I've done a few handbrake turns in some of my early cars and ended up popping a tyre off its rim once. Hence why the thought has never crossed my mind of doing it in the A2.
Plus it's much too civilised a car for hooligan antics.

Perhaps I'm just getting too old!!

The only time I've considered handbrake turns was ealier this year when I was working in Oslo. One place I had to park (if I was late into the office or lots of people drove in before me) was relativly car free and required a 180 degree turn. However what disuaded me was the small kerbs since I know what may happen if I hit one - when I was involved in an accident last year the other drivers vehicle hit a small piece of kerb side on with his rear wheel and it bent over quite a bit (axle = \---|), making sure his car was written off (the accident was his fault anyway). Not a good thing to do. So I suggest only trying them wher there are no kerbs or you may not be driving back home!

:D so which part of England is that again? I woudlnt do it at a car park anyway too dangerous too many obstacles, I do it in a massive court yard (only trailers and convoys go there to drop off stuff during the day) behind the wembley stadium. its massive and wicked :D.
