Hardtouch vs Softouch?

Just a tiny point about the wretched soft touch paint, I have made a discovery (New to me!) Having a truly awful centre console and glovebox lid on "Delinquent" Methelated spirit applied with enthusiasm lifts it all off and leaves a virgin plastic surface.

Shame some of the virgin plastics on switch gear are white!
I cleaned my ash tray replacement back to the hard black without knowing i was actually cleaning off the soft touch lol
