Headlght Bulbs

Just bought some new xenon headlight bulbs, got the old bulb out, cant seem to get the clip back on. Is it easier to take the headlight off, can only see the 2 screws? Thanks new to A2's, Phil....

I had both my headlight units off at the weekend, it is just the 2 screws on each light unit and it is alot easier to gain access with them removed.

Thanks for reply, would that be the 2 star shaped screws, 1 at the top and 1 down the side. Thanks Phil

yup there are 2 torx screws one at the top and one at the bottom, the bottom screw is a bit longer ans sits on a rubber mount. when you take the light unclip the spring, its usually sits quite tight and sits against the face plate of the bulb,

let us know how you get on with the bulbs. i changed mines yesterday, with a cheapy but may be convinced to get more expensive ones.

yes the Torx size = T-30

Thanks to all for the replies,
got myself a Torx T30 this morning, removed both headlight and changed 4 bulbs in about 20 mins, spot on advice again from the A2oc. Phil.....happy A2 owner lol
