Headlight Protectors and Mudflaps

Hello,

Does anyone have the headlight protectors fitted? Have just fitted a pair but don't have any paper instructions; i'm assuming that they just slide under the lights and the small black bracket sits on top of the light unit and it's then clamped on when the bonnet is fitted? Seems ok but not sure they are 100% secure?

Also, does anyone have fitting instructions for the original audi mud-flaps. Have a set but again no paper instructions.

If you get a chance, pop over the hill to Skipton Autos and I'll fit the flaps for you - I've fitted quite a few sets now and they are a bit of a pain, as the wheels all need to come off!

As to the headlamp protectors, I've got them fitted to Tank and what you're saying sounds about right, but I can check them whilst you're over. There is a little nipple that locates the top bracket and keeps it in place.

Ahh, I saw that little nipple thing and thought that was related! Couldn't seem to get the bracket located on there but then it was getting dark and starting to rain so was rushing a little! Will have another look and fix on correctly.

As for the mudflaps, after having a quick look I soon realised the wheels may have to be off! I might well book in with you for that; have been meaning to sort out a second key so will get in touch via private msg and sort both of those out.

Thanks...that's been a big help. The bracket goes under the seal which goes around the light! Have re-fitted them now; was a bit fiddly as i think one of the square plastic 'nuts' has perished a little, but all on and much more secure.

Got any part numbers for the mud flaps? I tried the golf type aftermarket ones but don't seem to fit.
