I'm taking the A2 to the Continent in January and will be doing a lot of night driving. Any recommendations for headlight conversion(s)?

Hi
Mervyn if your just going for a couple of weeks buy a set of deflectors/convertors they will do the job! they just stick on and work ok available at aa shops!
if your going indefinetly then replacement lh headlights are the way to go but can be costly!!
Don't forget your warning triangle/ hiviz vest and spare light set !!!
Have a nice trip:):):)

I took our a2 to france a couple of years ago and struggled to understand where it was supposed to go - I had a uk traffic cop next to me and he came across and it took him 15 mins to get them on.

Maybe it was the ones I bought, not very clear thats for sure.

hi Olly a fellow member on here took his a2 across France earlier this year to go climbing in the alps--this is what he did without any problems.
he bought a set of beam deflectors from halfords(sticky type) placed them in the door pocket along with his hi vis jacket(HAS TO BE IN THE CABIN OR YOU WILL BE FINED!) did nearly 2 weeks worth of driving with 6k hids never had a flash or a problem. his main concern was actually getting the sticky bits removed from the plastic headlight. he would have simply fitted them if the police ever stopped him.
the owners manual explains how to do it using normal tape so that is another option. don't forget you are required by law to have a set of spare bulbs.
hope this helps mike
