I pick my A2 up on saturday. I was wondering, as i can't seem to find the info anywhere, whether the wing mirrors are heated as standard or not.
If not i guess I'll have to get some ordered asap.
Thanks for any info.

Welcome kevA2,

The mirrors are not heated as standard. The heated mirrors are part of the winter pack option so find out if yours has got this. If not, it's not a problem as your A2 is almost certainly wired up for the heated mirrors so it's just a matter of prizing off the mirror glass, check to see if there are 2 loose wires not plugged into anything (these are for the heated mirrors) and plugging in new heated mirrors.

You can get them from vag parts who are a preferred supplier to the A2 owners club and if you're a member you'll get a 10% discount. They sell the nearside mirror for £19.99 and the driver side mirror for £24.10.

You can get the info here:

Hope this helps

I agree too, ain't that nice ;)

But Kev, if you're unsure of how to proceed with the mirrors, then please read a previous thread on this subject, with link to 'procedures' and pictures:

Go ahead, it's easy and very worthwile.
