Heated rear window and mirrors not working

Thanks for the instructions, just check plug letter , f seems to be the connector tabs in the diagram? Cheers
I did wonder. The schematic shows it as connector F, so it is, (probably), there.
Look for the Red/Black wire perhaps.
Might be clearer with the panel out.
I'm sure someone knows, but they're not saying ...
Edit: I suspect the pic from the workshop manual is incorrect. There isn't a connector E on the schematic, or the unit. Just A, B, C, D, & F.
Connector F has just two pins, 12 volts supply to the Climatronic on Pin 1, 12 volts supply to the screen heater on Pin 2. So measure ohms between Pin 2 and any earth/metal part.
Mac.

Will check ohms when I get a chance. I swapped cccu units yesterday, made no difference, the mirrors still heat ( once), no heat at rear screen. I checked for power at some solder joints I could see top right of rear screen, no power there with cccu screen heater selection on.

You can't get at the two heating element connections, without removing the trim. There are a total of ten soldered connections, to the screen, four pairs for the four separate antenna elements, plus the two to the heater.
I think the two heater connections are one either side of the screen. One the Red/Black supply, the other the earth.
Mac.

To confirm what others have said.
Relay 9 is the X contact relays. It is switches by the ignition switch and supplies power to many things, including the rear heated window.

The connector that Mac highlighted in the picture is the correct one. With the climate panel unplugged, ignition on, you should measure 12 volts between ground and the white wire. And close to 0 ohms between ground and red/black wire.

If you get a rear window open circuit fault it means that either the climate panel is faulty, or exactly what it says, there is a bad connection between the climate panel -> rear window heater -> ground.

And just to note, you can’t test the switch itself out of the car. It’s electronically controlled so needs power to work

Is there not a OAT element to the mirror control circuit?https://www.a2oc.net/community/index.php?threads/winter-pack.4354/

OAT? Outside air temperature? Lots of mixed information, I’m sure someone can confirm what it says in the manual. I can try and check the control module
