Heated washer jets retrofit?

My 1.2 has heated mirrors but no heated jets, so I assumed that the previous owner had retro-fitted the former. I've just been through the option codes in the service book and while there is a code for heated mirrors, there is no code for heated jets. I'm not sure how the original buyer would have been able to select that combination.

Maybe heated jets weren't available on the 1.2 and if the winter pack option was, it just provided heated mirrors.
 
According to an old Intercar A2 option sheet, the Winter Pack option was a 1.2 option.

There is an interesting sticky on retrofitting the twin washer jets in the forum. There is a caveat however. If your car had the winter pack with the single washer jets, them upgrading to heated twin washer is not quite so simple. The wiring looms are different. On the old single (system) the jets are supplied with a moulded in lead about 30cms long ending in a plug which joins the main loom by the wiper motor. On the new (twin) system the jets have no lead just a plug. So new connectors are required between the existing loom and the new jets!

Evening All,

Sorry for reviving an old thread. Can anyone help with part numbers (or supply if you have spare) for the newer (twin) heated washer jets and the connector leads I require to use my original female connectors by the wiper motor. I have just fitted the newer plenum cover with twin jets but now no longer have heated jets.

Ive used google translate and also searched the part numbers.

Am I correct in guessing that all I require is:

1x washer jet - 8Z0 955 987E
1x washer jet - 8Z0 955 987D
2x plugs to the jets - 8E0 973 202

I still have both power supply leads (1JO973802) from my single spray washer jets which I could solder/join to.

Double check but I get the latest heated washer jets to be 8E0 955 987D and 8E0 955 988D.
Not sure if they come with fly leads or need plugs

I'll investigate further before ordering. To be honest I don't think I need heated jets but know my OCD (or CDO in the correct alphabetical order as it should be) will get the better of me. I'll probably twitch every time I have the bonnet off seeing bagged up plugs hanging there serving no purpose.

Hi picked up this old thread given I've just managed to pick up a pair of heated jets for 2005 MY A2.

I've found new wired plugs on eBay but not sure how these wire in to existing loom. I'm assuming now I've dug around that there is no plug and play, they need soldered?
