Since buying a tatty petrol A2 to satisfy my curiosity and possibly pass on to my daughter, I realized what a good package the diesel powered car could be.
After some searching, I went to look at a car with a surprising spec, at a dealer a couple of weeks ago.
The car appeared to be all good and with a bit of haggling, we had a deal.
It is 2004, metallic black, TDI 75 and has:
FSH from PDI to date
All parts replaced with genuine Audi
15" (very) light alloy wheels in good condition, which will be winter wheels. I have a set of sport wheels for the summer.
decent aftermarket HIFI
OSS - replaced under warranty in 2012 !!!
factory fitted tow-bar and electrics !!!!
The car is not a SE model, so has not got front fogs or the false boot floor, both of which I am now looking to source and retro-fit
I'm slowly checking the car out and all i have found so far is that one glow-plug needs replacing....
