Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your search. Check the 'buying and owning an A2' sticky thread at the start of the 'General' forum and if you private message me your email address I'll send you a list of do's and dont 's relating to buying an A2.

yes, with that budget you are just about into the "reasonably good" Tdis, any less and you might struggle.

Well good evening one and all; I've done it! Found a lovely little A2 1.4TDI 75 Ebony with light grey interior. Collected from Exeter last Sunday. Paid 2900 and she has 126000 miles. Got a diesel smell in the engine bay, not dropping any on road however. Getting 420miles to the tank without trying and she goes very well indeed. Used the excellent buyer's guide kindly sent to me by Murdo. Anyone near the Kent/Sussex borders? Would be great to meet some other A2 owners :D
