Hi everyone, nice to say hello.

I am a current A2 owner, but I am going to be advertising my lovely A2 for sale.

I love my car....however, following a recent special birthday, I returned from holiday to find my hubby had purchased (off my neighbour) a lovely black A4 cabriolet! So, I am now the proud owner of a new car hence having to part with my A2.

Anybody that is interested let me know, I have tried to post on the selling page but does not look like I am allowed to for some reason. Maybe because I am a newbie, lol.

My car is currently on the Auto Trader. I would still love to be in touch with A2 owners as I am passionate about my german beauties.

Hi Rachel,

Or should that be goodbye........!!

It would be good to say sorry you're leaving.......but you've never been here.......pity

The reason you can't post in the selling section is because you don't fulfil the criteria (first post and it's to sell your A2).
If you read the marketplace rules you'll understand.

Also, if your passionate about the A2, why not keep the A2....sell the A4 cabbie and book another holiday.
If my wife did the same for me she'd be expecting the divorce papers in the post.

Good luck with the sale........and goodbye......It was good while it lasted......

Cheers

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the reply! The trouble is my new A4 is an automatic and I have to admit I have quite got used to this lazy drving life! Thanks for clarifying about the rules, I guessed it would be the case, no problem. I can wait.

I would not upset my hubby after going to the trouble of purchasing me a lovely birthday pressie. However, I am finding the tax and insurance, fuel consumption a lot more with the new wheels. I don't intend disappearing yet Jeff, just because I won't own anA2 soon it does not mean I have fell out of love with them :)

Given your enthusiasm for the car, it's a shame you didn't join the club during your ownership.

All the best,

Tom

Hi Tom,

I actually still own an A2, and wish they had not stopped making it. I did not know about the forum previously hence only just joining today.

As I still own the vehicle, surely I have the right to post like everyone else.

Absolutely! Even once you've sold it you can still post. Like I say, it's just a shame to say hello when you're leaving the fold. Hopefully you'll tire of the A4 and come back to the A2. You know it's a better car, really! :p
