Help. Display stopped working

My display has stopped working, mpg, and everything else. What can I check? Is there a reset technique?

Do you me the whole display is not lighting up, like loss of power, or partially lit, a few pixels perhaps?

Panic over... didn’t realise you can turn the display on and off with the reset button!! ?
I will go and stand in the corner and hang my head in shame ?
