Help!! Front strut mounting thread turning. How do I get the bolt out?

I'm part way through changing the front struts and after a morning's battle I've wrestled the brake reservoir out of the way sufficiently to undo two of the strut retaining bolts. On the third, the female thread bonded into the rubber of the strut top mount is turning with the bolt. How do I fix this? I've tried the obvious Mole Grips, but a) they don't grip enough and b) they squeeze the female thread onto the bolt.
I've seen an electric saw that operates in the same orientation as a chisel. I'm thinking one of those could either saw the head of the bolt off or slice the sides off the female thread. Assuming, that is, that these saws can cut steel.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? All constructive comments welcome.
Thanks

Mike

Mercifully it was the outboard fastener that broke free. I don't know what I would have done if it had been the inboard.

I also had to get the angle grinder at the bolt head, took about 15 mins to carefully grind away the head of bolt.
glad you got it sorted

Cbeers,
Paul
