Help my disabled badge is between the dashboard and windscreen ?

I stupidly left my disabled badge on the dashboard while driving and I think it’s gone between the dashboard and windscreen ? I’ve looked everywhere for it and it’s not anywhere in the car, I can’t think of anywhere else it could be.
How would I go about finding out if it’s behind there and if it is how would I go about getting it back?
 
@timmus, you know that area well - does there have to be some other explanation or could that actually have happened? I'm guessing there's no easy resolution if it has though ...

I hope you’re well. Sorry to hear that your A2 has been eating your badge.

Whilst it looks like there are many recesses where things could fall into, I don’t think it’s possible as the dashboard is quite a snug fit up to the windscreen. There is also not a lot of depth to loose something as large as a disabled badge.

My work car pass is credit card size, it used to annoyingly glide across the dashboard but never once did it disappear below the dashboard.

The few occasions it vanished I usual found it lurking under a seat or between a seat and the centre console.

There was one occasion when it was between the passengers seat and door, it fell out of the vehicle when the passengers door was opened. Fortunately I noticed it fall out.

My disabled badge won't fit between my dashboard and my windscreen - I've just been out and checked.

The best place to start looking is the floor of the car. Remove all the mats, and then slide the front seats fully forward and back, while checking the entire floor area.

Check the pockets in the doors too.

Have you considered it might have been stolen as there have been reports in London etc,
Even seen seen them locked to the steering wheel!
Where do you normally keep it as that’s where my wife’s badge usually turns up!

Because of the concern shown by club members, it would be considerate if you could give an update as to your efforts to locate your missing badge?
