Information Help needed please

Can someone advise where the thermostat is on a 2003 1.4 petrol? I have ordered a replacement from eBay but there seems to be some discrepancy as to where it is! Many thanks, Colin

Hi,

its on the right side of the engine when looking from the front of the car.

The following diagram shows the exploded view of the thermostat housing:
