Hi, I'm new to the A2OC also. I bought my pale blue 2001 1.4 petrol from my daughter in law as an insurable motor with build quality to teach my younger son to drive. I did not expect to be impressed, but after a month of ownership and one huge 540 mile round trip in the day (to the lake district for a funeral) at 53 mpg I think it's great....so much so that I'm on the look out for another, with a slightly better spec.. The onlyt problem is the wretched stereo which seems to have its own ideas about what I should be listening too and assumes that I want to hear wall to wall traffic announcements in the midst of the tape I want to hear. I know there are buttons: a double press on the TP seems to take one back to the cassette, but what about the bleeps? All of a sudden the CD is overridden by the radio which mutes itself and then bleeps as the signal isn't good enough to work the system. Automation gone crazy or what?
I've posted a thread about this problem because unlike my old diesel Nissan Almera, the A2 is in fact rather quiet...so I listen to the ICE quite a bit...so perhaps I'm looking for advice on an upgrade.
All the best!

Hi,

Isn't this a duplicate post? Not the end of the world but worth deleting the other one if it is a duplicate.
