I know the subject of HID's and their legality has been discussed before................but has anyone fitted any??? and if so what manufacturer / supplier did you use????

Also...........

Has anyone fitted any LED day running lights???? Halfords are now selling flexilble LED strips which hopefully can fit inside the headlight unit???

You need to pay attention more!

Plenty of owners have fitted HID kits and as long as you get a reputable kit which is purpose designed for reflector housings, you'll get a good beam pattern that will pass muster at MOT time.

As to LED strips, they'll not go inside the headlamps unless you've got very old (c.2000) headlamps, as these are the only splittable ones.

Nope - I've got no links with Skipton, despite my username!

Seriously though, the topic of HIDs is covered in huge depth and there's even a club discount at one retailer for H7R kits.

So what it's been covered before and your bored answering the same old questions!

Dunno if you noticed Coco, but I did answer the question is post #2.

The OP has obviously read up on the subject of HIDs from his original post, so just to go that little bit extra and find the answers wouldn't have been hard.

The topic of daytime running lights has also been covered in great depth and a simple search would reveal photos as well.

I don't tire of answering questions, even if they are the same old ones, but a little thought and research beforehand would help no end. The last thing I want to do is alienate folks and someone who is alienated by a gentle chide such as this would probably not stick around anyways.

Please people lets not fall out Skipton01 is one of the most informed people as regards to the A2 you will ever encounter he gives his time and advice plus experience F.O.C on this forum.
