For what it is worth I thought that my A2 (and the A3 for that matter) had a wierd beam pattern dip to main. They were both halogens and the main seemed to attract airplanes when the dip was set correctly.
Even more wierdly, the Dragon's 107 (which I love - 107 and Dragon - has a flightpath main beam with appropriately aligned dip...........................
The A4 is sublime on both........................................as you would expect.
