Hiya old but new member - faith lost in A2

Take it to Tony at A2 Cars. He'll nurse your car back to full health and you'll have an A2 to use whilst its being mended. You'll get quality work, and honesty, plus lots of coffee! I can't recommend A2 Cars highly enough to be honest. Worth the trip.

I have had three A2s. First was a 1.4 petrol which was and still is lovely (sold it to a mate). I sold it as it was a four seater and the third child was on its way. I then a few years later bought another 1.4 petrol which was terrible, misfiring all the time and could not be fixed. I walked away for a couple of years, but the A2 runs in my blood, it's like a forbidden fruit that can't be ignored!!
This time, in August last year I bought a 1.4 tdi and it's great! My point is, you might have a lemon, or you just need someone like Tony at A2 cars to sort it out. Whatever the case, the A2... Once you have experienced them, no other car will hit the mark and if you are like me, will just keep coming back. I'm starting to fill up.......

I'm also starting to fill up. Sorry to hear of your experiences. I have owned an A2 for a year now, I have spent a lot of money on it. Cam belt, new turbo and lots of other mechanical and comfort enhancements. I wouldn't ever be without her now. So much technology and design for the future in a small package. So much fun and enjoyment when driving anywhere.
Your 1.6 is the fastest and most technologically advanced engine of the range and I'm sure other members will agree, that with regular servicing and maintenance an A2 with an FSI engine will go on for many years to come. It might cost a bit here and there to keep her in optimum condition, but they are so, so worth it. There is no car around that is so complete like an A2 is.
Awesome, Unmatched, Desirable, Irreplaceable.
